Speech at the Treasury. In two weeks, I will presnt my book "European Dawn" in Washington, DC, at the Heritage Foundation. There will first be a larger arrangement and then one for a more limited audience. In DC, I will also meet with Under Secretary of the Treasury, Tim Adams, and speak at the Treasury. There will also be other meetings with institutes, think-tanks and at the White House. This interest in a clear analysis of Europe′s economic situation and the need for reform is very pleasing. Of course the US also needs quite a few reforms, of taxes and social security, for example. Perhaps the European experiences - such as the failure of the big state and the success of the flat tax - can provide some useful information.
