Yes to Turkey! Today, we were some people who spent some time in the town of Antalya. Previously, the only part of Turkey that I have visited is Istanbul, a great, modern and tolerant city. Judging form that expoerience, I would not only like to see Turkey as an EU member, but would like to move the EU institutions there, instead of Brussels. But people that are scpetic to Turkey and are against their EU entry point out that other parts are totally different. But I must confess that I have roughly the same impression of Antalya, where two million people live. Nice people, a modern city, an open atmosphere. True, Turkey has to do things concerning democracy to qualify. But the Turkish society is more than ready.
