A Law To Stop Development. This Wednesday, the Swedish Parliament approved a law which is intended to stop private companies from providing health care. It is especially focused on prohibiting profit, as if continuous losses would be something to wish for.

When I have told people from other countries about this coming law, they have acted as if they don?t believe what they are hearing: "Do you have too much health care in Sweden or why would you prohibit some?" "Is the public health care actually so perfect that it can?t improve any more from competition?" "What are the private hospitals to do now, close down?"

Good questions - without any possible answers. I can only tell them that we have a government which is not only without vision for the future - they actually make the future worse. Partly because they believe in socialism, partly because they co-operate with Communists. And people waiting for health care pay the price - often a high one.

At least it is soon Midsummer. The sun is shining. Sweden is a great country. It?s just a shame we have such a government.
