The Most Usual Contradiction? Companies are blamed, accused and criticised for many things. Many of the allegations are unfounded, but worse: quite a few are directed towards their best sides. Just to pick a few usual points: The CEO:s have too high salaries, the companies are materialistic and just produce ever more goods, they get people to work too much, sometimes they cut expenses and fire people, they give their owners too much profit, they don? pay enough taxes - etc. In sum, the companies are exploiters that we would be better off without, and the best we can do for now is to tax and regulate the hell out of them. But what happens now that the companies are actually moving? You would imagine the critics cheering in the streets. Not at all, they are terrified and don?t have a clue about what to do. Some grasp for the last guns they have and want to forbid them from moving. But this development probably makes it clear for most people that the companies are the foundation for everything we have. Without them, no jobs, no money, no goods or services, no welfare services - nothing. The conclusion for a society that wants a good future should be the opposite to force, taxes and regulations: Let the companies free!
