Congratulations, Shanghai! The majority in the European Parliament thus decided that they would like Europe to introduce a tax on financial transactions. I have argued against this proposal in Financial Times, for example. So many have criticied the financial industry lately, so perhaps this is their way of getting rid of the problem. If Europe would take this step, our financial industry would surely bother us no more. It would be located in Shanghai and other similar places. A bad decision by ignorant socialists.
