Back in the USSR... When my plane from Rio landed in Stockholm, the ground was hardly visible due to the snow storm. But the climate got even colder when I read about the events that have taken place during my two weeks of absence. A few examples: The Finance Minister, Pär Nuder, says openly that the government wants to raise the tax pressure - in the country with the highest taxes in the world. The Foreign Minister, Laila Freivalds, now explains why the government didn′t react to the tsunami catastrophe in Asia: she didn′t know what Phuket was! (Does she know what Asia is?) And the Prime Minister, Göran Persson, has been given a Doctor′s title at Örebro University. The reason? He was the one who decided that Örebro was to become a University. Now it is to be investigated whether this is a bribe. All this is the corrupt one idea- and one party state in action. And it is worth fighting every snowflake to make a change!
