A Triumph for Freedom. Tomorrow is the first free election ever conducted in Iraq. That can only be seen as a great step forwards for freedom. Of course there can be democracy in Islamic countries. This is yet another example. It is also a success for the new American foreign policy for democracy in the Middle East. There are terrorists that oppose the election. Let′s hope their influence gets as limited as possible. Iraq can show the way for other countries in the Middle East.
