"As Skyscrapers Rise, Markets Fall." I love tall buildings. Sometimes, they are a result of subsidies and sometimes of national pride - none of which I like. But the idea of reaching farther and acieving more is always appealing. As the new tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai, was inaugurated, people joked about the poor state of the economy. This seems, however, to be the rule rather than the opposite. The tall buildings seem to be planned in good times and always finished in bad times. Read more here.
