The Planned Economy Strikes Again. The centrally planned economy takes away all the forces that create prosperity, all that which brought us out of eternal poverty. No private ownership, no trade, no freedom of establishment, no profit. Just government monopolies. It is a system capable of creating thirst in the world′s most waterfilled places. Now the UN agency for food issues, WFP, tells us that North Corea has decreased the daily amount of food per person to 250 grams. 500 grams are believed to be the basic need for a human being. And this has happened despite the best year of harvest in a long time! With that system, it is what you get. It is a disgrace to human dignity.
