Obama Speech in Turkish Parliament. The final step on US President Barack Obama′s inaugural trip to Europe was Turkey. One part of it was a speech in Parliament, for which he received standing ovations. Not only did he handle all the really tricky parts well; he surpassed expectations. This is a very intelligent and bold speech, stressing in historical terms the close relations and indeed similarities between Turkey and the US.
