Economic Reforms. Yesterday, I spoke on the same session as Vladimir Dlouhy, former Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, and John Fund of the Editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal. A very interesting discussion, followed by a brief meeting with a personal advisor to President Sarkozy, who wanted a copy of my book. At the dinner, David Lipka och the Liberalny Institut shared anecdotes of the strange and depressing life during communism. I will get back about a few of those...
