Photo From Vienna. In late June, I spoke in Vienna about labour market reform at a big conference. The speaker at the Ball was former Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He was also Finance Minister during the latest years and managed to push through substantial market-oriented reform. Most of what one hears from Israel is their security problem and not the economic reform. But the reform record is impressive indeed, and of course with substantial positive results in terms of growth and new jobs. Mr Netanyahu represents the Austrian economic school and, by the way, also considered my book "excellent". Below, my wife Linda and I speak with Mr Netanyahu and his wife at the Ball.
