Martin Wolf in FT About My Book: "A Forceful New Polemic". In today?s Financial Times, Martin Wolf argues in a large article that the big state of Western Europe cannot survive. The problems - such as low growth, unemployment and deteriorating welfare services - are great, and they are caused by the model itself, he points out. The article is largely based on my book "European Dawn", but he also refers to other studies about productivity and regulations. A very important message by one of Europe?s leading economic authorities. This is likely the single most important contribution in a long time to the aim of making politicians realise the need for market-oriented reform that decrease the size of the state.
