Depressingly Normal. Today′s Le Monde reports that unemployment in France is now 9,5 per cent, the lowest level in three years. (Thanks, Fredrik.) Some are probably happy about this achievement of the European Social Model. It is a bit like when French authorities were happy after the riots and "only" a few hundred cars were burnt every night. That was considered normal. But if that is the state of affairs that we are used to, perhaps one or two parts of this society should be questioned...
