Stop a Massacre in Libya! I am not a diplomat and I cannot make a thorough military assessment of possible options for interventions in Libya. But I do know what my moral compass says: The people of Libya deserve freedom just as much as the French, Americans and Swedes. It seems to me that the West is far too reluctant and cautious. We have an imminent danger of first a massacre form the Gadaffi regime, then an even oppressive dictatorship. This would send the signal that you can keep in power as long as you are ruthless. We have to stop such a development.
