Brown Has Given Up. I have never seen such a leading politician as Gordon Brown so obviously desperate as in yesterday′s final debate, a week before the election. He masters the issues and details, but shapes his message poorly in debates. And he was too much on the attack, appearing unsympathetic. In his final plea, he only criticized the others, claiming that they were not ready for government. Now, he knows that he has lost - but the question is who will actually win. Is the UK still heading for a hung parliament?
