EEI Policy Paper: Second Wave of Reforms in Eastern Europe. Yesterday, the European Enterprise Institute remembered the victims of communism and celebrated economic reform in Eastern and Central Europe. At a seminar in the European Parliament, several MEP:s spoke on the topic, and a new Policy Paper was presented. It counters the common accusation that free-market reforms went too far in these countries, making them vulnerable to the crisis. In fact, they are now set for success and continue to reform.
